Sweet Lime Farming – Many risks involved

In Ramasagaram village, Bukkapatnam mandal, Anantapur district, young farmer Raghavendra has been passionately cultivating crops for 16 years. On his 3-acre land, he grows 2 acres of sweet lime and 1 acre of tomatoes. Recently, his sweet lime orchard faced severe challenges: pest infestations and fungal issues had caused extensive damage, leaving many trees on the verge of death. Despite repeated attempts using conventional methods, Raghavendra could not restore his orchard.
Determined to save his crop, he turned to the Grama Bazaar YouTube channel and learned about the herbal solutions—WeedZap, NemZap, and GrowthFit—used to control pests, improve growth, and enhance crop quality. He contacted agricultural expert Galla Chandrasekhar to understand the proper application methods.
Applying herbal solutions GrowthFit and Nemzap

Raghavendra applied NemZap herbal kashayam, targeting the severely affected sweet lime trees. Within days, the results were remarkable: the previously dying trees began sprouting new shoots, leaves regained their green vibrancy, and overall plant health improved significantly. Trees that had been on the verge of removal were now rejuvenated.
To further enhance fruit quality, he also applied GrowthFit, a natural growth promoter. Thanks to these herbal interventions, the orchard not only recovered but also showed early fruit development, with sizes appearing nearly a month ahead of schedule. The tomato crop on the remaining acre also benefited, yielding higher-quality produce.
An output beyond expectations!

Raghavendra expressed immense satisfaction, noting that in his 16 years of farming experience, he had never seen a solution as effective as these herbal kashayams. He credited the Grama Bazaar team for saving what was nearly a lost orchard, turning a potential disaster into a successful and thriving harvest.
This experience highlights the effectiveness of natural, eco-friendly solutions in reviving crops affected by pests and diseases, reducing dependency on chemical pesticides, and ensuring sustainable, high-quality yields. Raghavendra’s story serves as an inspiration for other young farmers to adopt herbal agricultural solutions for healthier plants, faster growth, and better productivity.
