The Gramabazaar team visited Jagadeesh’s banana farm in Vanukuru village, Penamaluru mandal, Krishna district. Spread across two acres, the farm includes bananas grown along with Navadhanyalu. Despite heavy rains and increased weed growth, the banana crop remained uniform and healthy.

Preventive Root Care and Improved Nutrient Uptake

Concerned about root health and nutrient absorption, the farmer learned about Nemzap and GrowthFit through YouTube and Gramabazaar guidance. Nemzap was used as a preventive soil application to strengthen roots, followed by GrowthFit to support continuous growth and plant vigor.

Reduced Chemical Use and Natural Weed Management

Chemical fertilizers were used only once during the initial stage and completely stopped thereafter. Weed growth increased after rains, but instead of removing it fully, weeds were used as mulch. This helped retain moisture, improve soil structure, and naturally control further weed emergence.

Lower Input Costs and a Natural Farming Vision
